We are seeking an experienced Cloud Specialist to join our Research Computing Services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our cloud resources hosted on Azure. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact research by ensuring that our computing resources are reliable and up to date with the latest technological advancements. What you would be doing

You will be responsible for updating existing cloud hosted systems, addressing any technical issues, and working with stakeholders to develop new solutions from their requirements. In addition to technical expertise, this role requires strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with research groups and various ICT teams across Imperial. What we are looking for

Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification, preferably in a computing or scientific subject, or evidence of equivalent experience gained through career development Experience of Python, Terraform, Bash, or similar Knowledge of at least one leading cloud infrastructure platform (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google) Interpersonal skills What we can offer you
