We are seeking an experienced Web Designer and Digital Coordinator to lead the technical aspects of our website, including design, development, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement. You’ll ensure the website operates efficiently, supports business goals, and evolves through data driven decisions and industry best practices. You’ll also look after our social media and digital communications. Responsibilities

Oversee website redesign and CMS migration, ensuring timely, on-scope project delivery. Monitor and optimise site health (e.g., page speed, uptime, mobile responsiveness) through regular audits. Ensure adherence to technical SEO, web accessibility and GDPR compliance. Collaborate with Students’ Union team to translate content and campaign strategies into meaningful, high performing web experiences. The Candidate

The successful candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of: Web Design:

Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and InDesign for creating and prototyping high-quality designs. CMS:

Experience managing and customising content across major CMS platforms. Version Control:

Solid understanding of version control for collaborative development. CRO & Analytics:

Proficient in analytics and heatmapping tools to drive data-based decisions. An ability to work independently and as part of a team with cross-functional responsibilities, in a fast-paced environment with deadlines. An ability to work in a flexible environment that requires creativity and adaptability to change. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
