Our client is seeking an experienced Education Account Manager to join their dynamic team and drive growth within the education sector.
Role Overview:
As an Education Account Manager, you will be the key liaison between our client and their education sector customers, responsible for nurturing existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on providing tailored IT solutions that enhance educational outcomes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of education sector clients, including schools, colleges, and universities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the challenges faced by educational institutions and how the MSP’s services can address these needs.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored IT solutions that meet the specific requirements of educational clients.
- Regularly meet with clients to review service delivery, discuss new projects, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential and existing clients.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in educational technology and IT services.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the MSP.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, ideally within the education sector and/or IT services.
- Strong understanding of the education sector’s IT needs and challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
- A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- A valid UK driving license, as the role may involve travel to client sites across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
