The Clinical Education Team are looking for an Education Administrator. This Trust wide post is based primarily at Leicester Royal Infirmary or Glenfield Hospital, however cross site working is required. The post holder will provide general assistance to the Education Administration Manager with day to day running of the Centre. The post holder will ensure the efficient use of facilities and resources and will aid the provision of postgraduate education, including room bookings, audio visual aids, catering and other support as required. The post holder will have responsibility for a specific, identified work stream. The postholder's primary responsibility will be to ensure study leave claims for Postgraduate Doctors in Training (including LED/TG Doctors) are processed appropriately, accurately and in a timely manner. Main duties of the job
Provide the administration of study leave claims for Postgraduate Doctors in Training (including LED/TG Doctors). Provide expert advice regarding study leave queries to services and Postgraduate Doctors in Training (including LED/TG). Clinical Education Centres Responsible for providing access to Education Centre rooms, ensuring all equipment is available and in good working order as per the CEC Standards. Ensure the day to day smooth running in the Centres, such as providing support with AV equipment as required, general tidying and raising issues. Booking rooms for teaching as per the CEC Access Policy. Provide administrative support to the Education Coordinator regarding the Dental Education programmes. This role will require some out of hours working to meet the demands of the PG training sessions. About us
