We are seeking to appoint a member of the HCPC’s Education and Training Committee. The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is a regulator of health and care professionals and our aim is to protect the public. To do this, we keep a register of professionals who meet our standards for their education and training, professional skills, conduct, performance and ethics and continuing professional development. The Education and Training Committee is a statutory committee of the HCPC, responsible for advising the Council on matters relating to education, training and registration. As the Education and Training Panel members of the committee are also responsible for making decisions in relation to the approval and monitoring of education programmes. We are seeking an individual with education quality assurance experience. The candidate should also have the ability to contribute to strategic planning and delivery and collective decision-making. An attendance allowance of £362 is payable for each meeting together with any travel and subsistence expenses incurred.
