This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for children with special educational needs. Day-to-day of the role:
Develop and implement tailored strategies based on the analysis of triggers and consequences of behaviours, particularly for autistic children. Work closely with teaching staff to support learning, as well as social and emotional needs. Engage and motivate pupils by building trust and confidence, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to drive continuous improvement in learning quality. Utilise excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children from diverse backgrounds and other staff members. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Behaviour Analyst or in a similar role, ideally within a special educational needs (SEN) setting. Strong understanding of the needs of children with complex autism. Ability to inspire, challenge, and stimulate both pupils and staff. Flexible, reflective, and self-evaluating practitioner. Must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS check on the update service.
