Questar III BOCES announces a full-time (12-month schedule) vacancy for an Education Finance Analyst ( Civil Service Title: Special Education Aid Assistance Service Technician ) based out of our central office in Castleton, NY. This position is responsible for providing Special Education Aid support to client school districts and the BOCES. The position will serve as the frontline resource to client school districts and BOCES to answer basic questions and requests related to the STAC (System to Track and Account for Children) process; assist with the coordination and development of presentations, training sessions, and meetings including, but not limited to scheduling and development of presentation materials utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software related to the Special Education Aid Service; supports and maintains the Special Education Aid Assistance Service client contact database, special education list serve, and prepares related reports as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications : Associates degree and one year of work experience working within data management systems and/or spreadsheet applications. Candidates with a high school diploma and three years of work experience working within data management systems are also considered. Preferred candidates will have a working understanding of the Special Education STAC process and possess strong communication skills.
