We are working with a Local Authority in the West Midlands Region looking for an experienced Education Lawyer to join their department for an initial 3-month period.
The successful candidate must be UK qualified and have upwards of 12 months’ experience dealing with the following:
- Dealing with matters relating to the council’s SEN related functions.
- To manage a case load of complex cases, comprising SEN Tribunal cases, with minimum supervision.
- Advocacy experience is desirable
Pay rate is between £40-55 per hour.
This is a full – time position with the council operating within a flexible working environment.
Previous Education legal experience in a local authority setting is essential.
The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
