Experience of working as a team with others of varying seniority with proven ability of working in a team environment and delivering team objectives. Experience of reviewing and developing administrative processes and procedures. Proven experience of drafting and producing minutes and meeting notes. Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritise workload in a challenging and demanding environment as well as the ability to remain calm in pressurised situations - e.g., periods of high recruitment activity, challenging telephone conversations with senior medical colleagues and medical trainees or dealing with urgent requests. Previous experience in the NHS in a similar administrative role, preferably within an HR environment, is desirable. Skills and Abilities
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work. Ability to maintain concentration and meet objectives in a working environment where interruptions are frequent. Able to work without direct supervision. Excellent keyboard and word processing skills and ability to manipulate data on spreadsheets (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Access skills). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with TIS (Trainee Information System) or other large databases/HR and/or recruitment information systems.
