Axcis Education are working with an independent special school on the outskirts of Torbay to find a dedicated 1:1 Education Support Worker to work with students who have SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other complex needs. In this role, you'll be working on outreach with students who may present challenging behaviours and can sometimes be reluctant to engage in their learning. Your experience working with students with SEND needs will be crucial in building strong relationships and fostering engagement through creative and flexible learning strategies. Key Responsibilities:

Outreach support:

You will be required to travel to Plymouth and Exeter to provide in-person support for students. 1:1 Learning Assistance:

Support students with core subjects or engage them in tailored activities to encourage participation and academic progress. Building Relationships:

Form meaningful relationships with students, helping them build trust and develop their social and emotional skills. Requirements:

Experience with SEND:

Previous experience working with students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or other complex needs is essential. Flexibility:

As the role involves outreach, you must be comfortable with driving to different locations. Commitment:

This is a permanent position with working hours from 8.45 am to 4.45 pm. Benefits:
