£23,940 per annum The school is a small independent special school located in Totnes, with class sizes of roughly 2 to 5 pupils. They are looking to appoint an Education Support Worker who can provide individual support and supervision for pupils, encouraging their engagement in the learning process, and working towards agreed aims and objectives. Requirements: Experience of working with children and young people An interest in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning Ability to inspire, motivate and empathise with young people High levels of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm Good general standard of education to Level 2 including GCSE Grade 4 equivalent in English and Maths You will be required to transport pupils, so you must be able to drive and have access to your own car For immediate consideration, please apply for this position using a copy of your most recent CV which includes your current employment and any employment gaps.
