Soulbury Scale A 3-8 + up to 3 SPA points. Existing SPA points will be honoured.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is a dynamic and innovative service supporting young people, their families, and schools across a diverse geographical area. We are committed to working together with parents/carers, schools, and partner agencies to help all children and young people to ‘build a better future’.
The service provides a flexible service delivery model that ensures psychological support is provided in the most effective and efficient way. We offer wide-ranging support in response to requests for our involvement, including systemic support, problem solving and reflection, consultation and formulation, and direct involvement with children and young people. All team members are actively engaged in multi-agency work, interdisciplinary work, project work, and action-based research.
Our service values the importance of reflective practices and provides a variety of opportunities for staff to receive regular individual and group supervision, as well as weekly reflection sessions with peers to support you in your role. You will also receive a tailored induction process and ongoing mentoring.
You will work with a large and friendly team of fully qualified Educational Psychologists, who have a wide range of interests and expertise. The team is flexible in its approach to meeting diverse community needs and currently has several specialist subgroups, including:
