Educational Psychologist , on a

£474.87 - £600.00 per Day Responsibilities: To provide interim support to the Educational Psychology Service during a period of transition from the current PEP post holder, and for a period of time into the new term. To liaise and work closely with the current PEP and Senior EPs to ensure a smooth transition. To provide management and supervision to Educational Psychologists and Trainee Educational Psychologists to ensure high quality and effective service delivery. To work with the Early Help Managers and Principal Officer for Health and Well-being on the strategic development of Children, Families and Community Health services. To plan to ensure that the Educational Psychology Service (EPS) supports the Local Authority (LA) in meeting its statutory responsibilities for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). Qualifications: Professional qualification in Educational Psychology at Masters/Doctoral Level. Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. Good Honours degree in psychology or equivalent recognised by the British Psychological Society. Experience of supporting EPS at a time of change and transition ensuring that staff are supported and are able to maintain a high level of quality and delivery.
