Electric Drive Integration Engineer

Electric Drive Integration Engineer focuses on ensure system-level compatibility between motors, controllers, and power electronics.

What the role involves

• Ensure system-level compatibility between motors, controllers, and power electronics.
• Driving the design of efficient, lightweight electric drive systems from concept through to production.
• Optimise performance, reliability, and efficiency of electric propulsion and actuation systems.
• Supporting the transition of new electric drive technologies into production, including managing release processes.
• Define and execute test plans for motors, drives, and power systems.
• Ensure integration of supplier systems meets program requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Engineering or related subject.
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, verification of electric drives, motors and power systems.
• 3+ years of experience in launching new products to production including the release process.
• 3+ years’ experience in aerospace or related low volume manufacturing.

Confirmed role details

• Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (excluding breaks). Hybrid working (where applicable), giving you the flexibility to balance time between home and our offices (norm is 3 days a week.
• Bonus: Non contractual company performance related bonus.
