What the role involves

• Develop electrical architectures for new and existing programmes.
• Maintaining technical requirements and documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Supporting certification, compliance, and safety activities.
• Assisting with system integration and electrical design governance.
• Provide technical support across multidisciplinary teams.

Skills and requirements

• Background in electrical engineering or electrical installations.
• Experience with LV/ELV systems, grounding, bonding, and power distribution.
• Knowledge of electrical compliance standards such as BS 7671.
• Experience working with complex electro-mechanical or mobile/platform-based systems.

Confirmed role details

• Up to £65,000 DOE.
• Job Type: Full Time, Perm, Hybrid (typically 2–3 days Onsite).
• Be responsible for developing and maintaining electrical architectures and requirements for complex systems operating in demanding environments.
• Involves close collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders to support delivery from early concept through to production and in-service support.
