What the role involves
- Develop electrical architectures for new and existing programmes.
- Maintaining technical requirements and documentation throughout the lifecycle.
- Supporting certification, compliance, and safety activities.
- Assisting with system integration and electrical design governance.
- Provide technical support across multidisciplinary teams.
Skills and requirements
- Background in electrical engineering or electrical installations.
- Experience with LV/ELV systems, grounding, bonding, and power distribution.
- Knowledge of electrical compliance standards such as BS 7671.
- Experience working with complex electro-mechanical or mobile/platform-based systems.
Confirmed role details
- Up to £65,000 DOE.
- Job Type: Full Time, Perm, Hybrid (typically 2–3 days Onsite).
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining electrical architectures and requirements for complex systems operating in demanding environments.
- Involves close collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders to support delivery from early concept through to production and in-service support.
