Job role: Electrical Assembly Engineer
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 per annum
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week flexible hours

The Role:
Use a variety of hand tools to assemble, wire and install an array of control panels and machinery.
Read and interpret both mechanical and electrical diagrams and drawings to ensure control panels are wired and assembled correctly and to the highest quality possible.
Wire and assemble an array of gearboxes, PLC systems, heating circuits and servo drives as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Once the panel has been wired and assembled correctly, fit these components to the onsite machinery.
Quality check your work to ensure quality expectations are met, reworking where required.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.
The Requirements:
Previous experience within panel wiring and/or electrical assembly (essential)
The ability to read and fully understand mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and diagrams (essential)
An understanding and working knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous)
17th or 18th edition wiring regulations (advantageous)
Relevant qualifications NVQ s, City & Guilds etc (advantageous)
Strict attention to detail
Work to tight deadlines
