Electrical Assembly Technician

to work within their large-scale chemical regeneration Plant and Water Treatment Service Centre. The Role This is an important role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the

electrical builds of water treatment equipment,

keeping projects to time schedule and budget, and utilising your knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and rectify errors found in technical drawings. As an

Electrical Assembly Technician , you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and documentation of cables, trays, and rack assemblies, working on single-phase, three-phase, high-voltage, and low-voltage electrical circuits. You will use blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics to complete the builds, ensuring that the quality of work produced is of the highest standard. Minimum Requirements:

City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent. At least 3 years working experience in the electrical field. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. NVQ3 in electrical based units. City and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspection. Computer literate and familiar with MS Office packages. Knowledge and experience of working within the Water Treatment Industry or with Water Treatment equipment would also be highly beneficial. Compensation: Basic £42,000 per annum plus overtime. 1st 5 hours time and a half and then double time thereafter. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible start time to suit family and individual needs! You will be auto enrolled into pension after 3 months at 5% EE & 10% ER, as well as Life Insurance after probation at 10 X basic salary. Dental Plan providing cover or monetary cash back on appointments and treatments. Enhanced Maternity / Primary Care pay of 13 weeks full pay from Day 1. Enhanced Paternity / Secondary Care pay of 2 weeks full pay from Day 1. Adoption Leave of 13 weeks full pay for Parental, and 2 weeks full Co-parental pay from day 1 of employment. Support for Carers offering flexibility for longer term caring needs.
