Excel Technical Consulting are seeking experienced Avionic/Electrical Technicians to join our clients team based in the southwest of the UK on a permanent basis and contribute to the development of innovative electric and hybrid prototype aircraft.

In this exciting role, you will be part of a team producing aircraft at the forefront of aviation technology as well as assisting with the flight test program, which could include potential overseas deployments. Your responsibilities will include assembling avionic components to the highest quality standards, building and maintaining low and high voltage systems, and supporting aircraft systems and flight testing. You will also ensure accurate completion of documentation and maintain strict cleanliness and tool control throughout work areas.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised aircraft engineering qualification (although not essential), a minimum of two to five years of experience in aircraft production, maintenance, or overhaul, and expertise in avionic systems, wiring harness techniques, and where applicable, composite materials. A full UK driving license is required.

The package available includes a salary of up to £48,000 dependant on experience or qualifications, you will also receive benefits such as life assurance, critical illness cover, pension match and top up.
