Electrical Building Services Engineer - Brand new SMART Building
£45,000 Basic Salary + 25 Days Holiday + Overtime + Career Progression + Pension
A globally recognised FM organisation has secured the contract for a brand new commercial office building based in the Reading area and is looking for an Electrically biased building services engineer to join the team. Being a brand new building, expect state-of-the-art equipment and a super sustainable building with SMART technology.
The role will involve working within a 2-man team overseeing the planned and reactive maintenance of a large commercial office complex. The working hours will be on a rotating Monday to Friday basis from 7am - 4pm and 9am - 6pm, overseeing a range of equipment including: Single and Three phase power Motors Emergency lighting UPS (First Line) Generators (monthly testing) Fire alarms (weekly testing) BMS systems (set points and changing temperatures) Chilled water systems (first line) AHU's FCU's General building maintenance
Ideally, candidates should hold relevant electrical qualifications and have at least 3 years of experience working within the building services sector.
