As an Electrical (C&I) Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term integrity and reliability of high-value HV and LV electrical systems, within a company that's rapidly growing in the UK and Ireland energy markets. What You Will Do: Manage the integrity of HV/LV electrical systems onsite, including generators, transformers, motors, and distribution systems. Collaborate closely with the EC&I Support Engineer and EC&I Graduate Engineer to ensure high levels of system availability and knowledge retention. Plan and execute electrical inspections, both technically and financially, during scheduled outages. Develop long-term planning for asset management through station life and system obsolescence. Support the Engineering and Maintenance teams in fault finding, engineering solutions, and root cause analysis on electrical and control issues. Manage electrical contracts from identification and budgeting to specification and execution. What You Will Bring: Degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline; or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering with significant industrial experience. Demonstrable experience with HV electrical equipment including transmission and distribution. Knowledge of LV electrical equipment and HV/LV protection highly desirable. Experience in Control and Instrumentation and/or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is advantageous. Strong IT/IS skills, particularly in MS Office, coupled with excellent numeracy, literacy, and problem-solving skills.
