About the Role:

We are working with one of our business partners to find an experienced Electrical Construction Manager for a major commercial scheme, with an M&E value of £(phone number removed). The project is currently at the rip-out stage, and the successful candidate will be responsible for running their own floors, overseeing the electrical installation work across the building. You will manage the electrical elements of the scheme, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, on schedule, and in compliance with the latest regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee electrical installations across your designated floors, ensuring all work aligns with the project's specifications and meets current regulatory standards. Manage electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of tasks. Work closely with the project management team to coordinate on-site activities and address any issues or delays. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout the project. Review and manage the integration of new electrical systems with existing infrastructure on site. Conduct inspections and testing, ensuring work is completed to the required specifications and is fully compliant with regulations.

Key Requirements:

Experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large commercial projects, ideally with experience working on older buildings and updating services. Strong background in M&E projects, with hands-on experience managing electrical installations and subcontractors. Ability to manage your own floors and oversee the full delivery of electrical work. A solid understanding of current electrical regulations and experience in upgrading older systems to meet these standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with other trades on-site. Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, 18th Edition, etc.). SMSTS or SSSTS certification is preferred.
