£450 per day (6-month renewable contract) or £65k per annum (permanent) Southern Area – Rail Power & Energy Sectors Join a High-Performing Engineering Team We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to work with our established Project Manager to drive forward the delivery of our Rail Power & Energy Sector works across the Southern area. What You’ll Bring: Safety First Culture. Electrical qualifications – ideally 18th Edition. PTS certification and SMSTS. Substation access (Level C or D preferred). Experience with electrical installations, including minor civils cabling route containment. Strong organisational skills. Strong background & experience in electrical construction engineering (degree or HNC/HND preferred). Experience in the rail power and/or energy sectors. Proven track record of safe, quality, and on-time delivery. What You’ll Work On: Energy Sector – RTU Installations Rail Power - AC/DC Maintenance Contract Rail Power - Sub Station Installations What You’ll Do: Collaborate with the Project Manager, in-house installation teams & approved suppliers to deliver the project portfolio. Maximise project resources, including labour, plant, and transport, for peak productivity. Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements in cost and programming. Monitor and oversee the site supervision carrying out the construction and installation works, ensuring safety and quality in compliance with the designs and industry standards. Manage client relationships and ensure works meet contract requirements, timelines, and budgets. Review and approve documentation, including construction programmes, method statements, and ITPs. Manage your team, project resources, and finances to stay within budget and deadlines. Ensure compliance with company health & safety policies, as well as QUENSH standards. Why Join Us?
