Electrical Contracts Manager

Our client, a reputable electrical contractor, is looking to recruit an Electrical Contracts Manager due to continued success and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within a progressive and successful business.

Suitable applicants will have worked in an Electrical Contracts Manager role previously and have extensive experience delivering electrical packages on developments within the commercial sector. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering projects ranging in value from £50k to £1.5m. Typical projects include offices, Cat A and Cat B fit out, hospitals, retail, and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities:

Working alongside Estimating/Tendering teams. Plan, implement, and deliver projects according to programme, budget, and quality. Manage overall project delivery to practical completion. Manage H&S to the highest standard, monitor and report any incidents. Responsible for project costs and variation accounts. Manage labour levels and material deliveries in accordance with site schedules and build programmes. Weekly visits to client sites to monitor quality of installation, view and discuss build programmes, and any variations or VO's.

Requirements: Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role. Excellent organisational skills. Good IT skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

There is an immediate start available for the right candidate and this is a permanent position paying £60k - £75k depending on previous experience and skill set, with work vehicle and package negotiable.
