Electrical Contracts Manager

for a growing local electrical contractor in Cardiff, specialising in commercial and industrial installations. This role is essential for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to work with an existing team. As one of two Contracts Managers, you will be responsible for running installation projects, either commercial or industrial, with a good mixture of office-based work and site visits as required across Wales and the South West predominately. Duties: Managing the project from inception to handover. Managing the process of design, estimate, and quotation for both old and new clients. Control of subcontractors. NICEIC registered Supervisor. Managing the delivery according to the program. Liaising with site installation team and client. Ordering materials as required. Involved in estimating projects from plans. Attending site as required. Helping to expand the existing client base with your contacts. To be successful as the Electrical Contracts Manager, you will: Be JIB qualified. Have experience in running commercial and industrial installation projects. Be within commuting distance to Wales and the South West. Be able to read from drawings and run installation delivery programs. Salary:

£50k - £52k basic, negotiable on experience, plus vehicle allowance. Qualifications: Proven experience in contract management or a similar role, demonstrating strong organisational skills. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of achieving successful outcomes in complex discussions. Strong project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook. Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive results. A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse complex information effectively. Relevant qualifications in business administration, law, or a related field would be advantageous but not essential.
