Electrical Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Construction Project Manager Location:

Remote (with 1-2 days per week in the office in Warrington)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Construction Project Manager to lead and manage a dynamic team in the successful delivery of an exciting new project. This role is critical to ensuring the implementation of best practices and the achievement of key project milestones while overseeing high-quality construction work in a safety-critical and hazardous environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and develop a competent EC&I-focused construction delivery team. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Interface with third-party stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination, delivering work packages on time and within budget. Supply Chain & Contractor Partnership:

Select and collaborate with supply chain partners and contractors to meet project deliverables and KPIs. Construction Direction:

Provide guidance to engineers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to Business Operating Procedures (BOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs). Construction Reviews & Documentation:

Coordinate and lead construction reviews, and produce/approve work instructions, installation sequencing, and method statement documentation. Standards Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant design standards, practices, and safety requirements. Project Delivery Management:

Oversee construction activities, manage schedules, and maintain accurate forecasts for cost, resources, and timelines to ensure the successful delivery of work packages.

Role Requirements: Degree Qualification in Electrical and Control Engineering (or equivalent). Proven Project Delivery Experience in the design, manufacture, installation, and validation of electrical and control systems in high-specification, safety-critical, hazardous environments. Experience in Electrical Systems including switchboards, transformers, cabling, cable management, lighting, HV & LV distribution, UPS, and safety-critical equipment integration. Expertise in Control & Instrumentation Systems such as access control, CCTV, SCADA, building management, and safety systems. Strong knowledge of safety-related structures, systems, and components operating in hazardous environments.
