Job Description: As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design and development of offshore and subsea equipment. This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring involvement throughout the project lifecycle—from understanding client requirements to design, development, installation, testing, and customer acceptance. You will also provide after-sales support and assist with documentation and training as needed. Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for offshore and subsea equipment. Creating CAD-based system diagrams, wiring schematics, and detailed engineering data. Sizing and selecting power system components, cables, and other equipment. Integrating subsea surveillance, vision, and lighting systems. Preparing functional design specifications, risk assessments, and FMEA/FMECA analysis. Supporting factory tests and occasional offshore or international travel. Producing commissioning, testing, and user documentation, as well as training materials. Skills & Experience: To excel as an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will need: A BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong practical background. Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD; knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is a bonus. Experience in designing to meet client specifications on time and within budget. Familiarity with machinery safety standards (BS EN 60204, BS EN 13849, and BS EN ISO 13850:2015). Knowledge of network and communication systems such as RS485, MODBUS, and Ethernet protocols.
