The Company An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of Europe's instantly recognisable manufacturers, a leading manufacturer specialising in the FMCG marketplace. They have manufacturing facilities across Europe and are a secure and supportive organisation. They are currently looking to expand the engineering maintenance capacity on site, within this automated manufacturing process, producing upwards of 450 million units per year.
Key Skills
HNC or above in Electrical Engineering Reliability or Asset Care Management Knowledge Continuous Improvements/Projects Experience A Working Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Systems You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship & HNC ideally in electrical engineering, furthered your education, and have experience working within computerised, planned, and preventative maintenance schedules (CMMS, ideally Agility), working with equipment such as SCADA & PLC systems, packaging, conveyors, and processing machinery within a high-speed automated environment. In addition to this, you will have the experience and ability to lead reliability, continuous improvement projects, based around Six Sigma & FMEA, focusing on advanced maintenance & process techniques and have the responsibility for the overall efficiencies of machinery as well as hands-on projects as needed, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of this high-speed distribution centre. The ideal candidate will also have experience in an automated production facility and the ability to work within and supervise a team or autonomously as required. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, which will lead to a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to senior management within this secure organisation.
