Position: Electrical Controls Engineer Location: Nottingham (with travel across various sites) Salary: Circa £80k DOE + Company Vehicle Multitask Personnel is thrilled to partner with a prestigious Electrical Engineering Contractor that has been a leader in the industry for over 25 years. Seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join their team, you will have the chance to work on diverse industrial electrical projects, from quarries to pharmaceuticals, and make a real impact. Responsibilities: Programming PLCs from scratch or modifying existing code to meet new requirements. Commissioning plant systems, from I/O checks to Site Acceptance Tests. Writing simulation code to ensure software reliability before site deployment. Setting up Inter-PLC communications and VSDs, as well as Siemens Simocode devices. Designing electrical control panels and MCCs, including SIL safety circuits. Creating detailed schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD. Your Expertise: Proficiency with Allen Bradley RS Logix 500, RS Studio 5000. Skilled in Mitsubishi GXWorks 3, GXWorks 2, IEC Developer, GX Developer, E-Designer, and GT Designer 3. Experience with Omron CX Designer, CX Programmer, and Sysmac Studio. Familiarity with Crimson 3 for Red Lion HMIs. Qualifications: ONC in Electrical Engineering. 2391 in Electrical Inspection and Testing. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Strong foundation in Maths and English Package: Salary: Circa £80k depending on experience. Company Vehicle with business miles fuel card. Laptop and phone provided. Pension Scheme with a 4% company contribution. 24 days of holiday plus 8 statutory days. All necessary PPE provided.
