Test, maintain and modify existing systems. Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to evaluate and improve electrical systems. Prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Work in collaboration with manufacturers, operational staff, suppliers and customers. Provide advice and consultancy support to colleagues and clients. Manage projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating work. The Successful Applicant A successful Electrical Controls Engineer should have: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience in control system design and application. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
