Fantastic opportunity awaits for two Electrical Design Engineers to work with a leading manufacturing company specialising in bespoke automated machinery. Working within their state-of-the-art headquarters in Essex, you'll become part of a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to excellence. In this role, you'll play a vital part in the company's development, transitioning drawings from AutoCAD to EPLAN, whilst collaborating closely with the Automation Department. Salary:

23628 Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

Assisting with the transition of drawing from AutoCAD to EPLAN, collaborating with the Automation Department to establish drawing standards and working methods. Generating electrical drawings and panel layouts, along with supporting electrical documentation such as Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, and Terminal Rail Layouts. Ensuring prompt updates of all electrical drawings throughout the project lifecycle and sharing with all relevant departments. Maintaining a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project. Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and ideally Pro Panel 3D is highly advantageous; however, we are open to other electrical CAD experience and will train on EPLAN packages, which might include AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical or SolidWorks. A formal Electrical Engineering Qualification (Apprenticeship/HNC/HND/Degree). A systematic approach to work with high attention to detail. The ability to work effectively with people across departments and shop floor. Experience in a project environment in cross-functional project teams would be beneficial. You will be joining a company experiencing a large number of orders ongoing for the long-term future. This is an excellent time to be a part of a close-knit team offering support-focused progression. Located in Essex, this role would be commutable from Tilbury, Southend-on-Sea & Chelmsford.
