Looking for an
Electrical Design Engineer
for a contractor who has a very healthy pipeline of work for the foreseeable.
All works are within the renewable sector, including
Battery ,
Solar PV storage , as well as work on substations.
The candidate should have a minimum of
2-3 years
experience, with a
BSc in Electrical Engineering
or something similar. The candidate will be reporting directly to the
Senior Electrical Design Engineer/Manager
and will be working alongside more junior electrical design engineers, helping them progress when needed. The candidate must also come from an electrical background or have relevant electrical experience.
The role is office-based in
North Lanarkshire , with
90%
of your time spent there. You will also be required to do some site visits across
Scotland
and
Northern England , but this will only be when necessary.
Experience in
civils , electrical and UK grid codes, cables, substations, solar, and battery storage is all beneficial.
Salary will range between
£40K-£55K , and we are looking to get someone started as soon as possible.
