Orion is working with one of the UK's leading specialists in the design and manufacture of bespoke Test and assembly systems in various industries. They have over 25 years of experience in the industry, with expertise in aerospace.

Due to continued growth, the company is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

Main Responsibilities for the Electrical Design Engineer

Provide technical information and answer technical questions from any source within or outside the company.

Design and develop new products, providing suitable production information for their manufacture and upkeep, and complete the projects within the dates and costs specified.

Estimate, design, modify, and build products in line with the company's 'Special Projects' Procedure, maintaining specifications and estimated costs.

Provide technical information to assist in the generation of technical manuals.

Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer

HNC or above in electrical engineering or a similar discipline.

Use AutoCAD to create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and installation cable drawings.

Knowledge of control systems, sensors, or instrumentation.

Knowledge of LV control panel layout and design.

All-round general knowledge of electrical disciplines.

Full right to work in the UK.
