Electrical Design Engineer £45000 - £50000 The Role: As an Electronics Design Engineer, your role includes the design, development, and testing of embedded systems, including software, firmware, and hardware development. You will identify issues and work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders (internally and externally) to support continuous improvement of existing products and processes. Key Duties: Maintain and problem-solve the current electronics components and product portfolio. Reduce time to market of new features. Improve response to failures/bugs. Design and build future platforms for a stable portfolio and test and debug the systems. Review historical systems, troubleshoot, debug, improve, test, and create efficient systems for stability. Skills and Experience: Professional experience in embedded systems. Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering. Programming experience in C or C++. Experience in troubleshooting embedded systems. Proficiency in working with common embedded systems communication protocols. A good communicator at all levels with the proven ability to work as part of a team. Exceptional analytical and proven problem-solving skills. Self-motivated. Good time management with the ability to focus on task completion. Experience of working in organisations with ISO9001 quality management systems.
