keen and enthusiastic Electrical Design Engineer

to join our experienced engineering team. Using your expertise and creativity, you will design panels and electrical schematics ranging from retro-fit camera systems to large industrial automation machinery, leveraging the power of AutoCAD Electrical. Key Responsibilities Innovative Design : Develop designs, architectural diagrams, and schematics in AutoCAD Electrical, supported by the guidance of an experienced Design Manager. Component Specification : Select cutting-edge components to drive automation systems, ensuring they meet technological advancements. Global Standards Compliance : Produce designs and drawings that adhere to international standards. Team Collaboration : Work closely with the Design and Applications Engineering teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard. Hands-On Work : Participate in the electrical build of systems, offering a blend of design and practical experience. Stay Ahead of the Curve : Continuously engage with the latest advancements in vision engineering and industrial automation. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise Essential : Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience. Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software. Strong understanding of electrical control gear and industrial automation. Experience in designing and creating electrical panel layouts. Logical problem-solving approach and high attention to detail. Well-organised with the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A collaborative team player. Desirable : Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or related fields (2:1 or above). Knowledge of robotics, PLC, and controls. Full, clean UK driving licence. Why Join Us?
