My client are specialists in industrial electrical engineering within the water industry. They provide design, installation, and commissioning services to water infrastructures across the South Coast. Their client portfolio includes major water infrastructure businesses, including tier 1 contractors, with an expansive future project pipeline. In this role, you will be providing design assistance to electrical systems within water and wastewater infrastructure. From client requirement interpretations to electrical design, tender assistance, and feasibility studies - this is an incredibly varied role where you will have the chance to work with major players within the industry. You will also be helping to establish the design team, heading up and managing the team moving forwards. This is the ideal role for an electrical design engineer with experience in AutoCAD looking to progress their career into a management role. You will be looking to branch into the water industry, where you will be working within a futureproof sector, along with expanding your own skillset through formal training in areas that you are interested in. The Role: Electrical system design within the water and wastewater industry - including single line diagrams, load schedules, cable schedules, and more. Training will be provided on skillset gaps! Site surveys and client interpretation duties. Project management duties - including tender pricing, feasibility studies, client communication, and material estimation. Hybrid working opportunities. The Candidate: Experience within electrical design. Experience in AutoCAD. Relevant electrical qualifications - HND, City and Guilds etc. Strong knowledge on electrical codes and standards. Water/utilities industry preferred, but not essential!
