Purpose The Senior Consultant role in the CAPS team involves delivering consultancy and professional services for critical environments, primarily enterprise and professional data centre markets. Responsibilities include strategic consultancy, feasibility and master planning, design, engineering, commissioning, compliance, and certification, with a focus on electrical systems. The role contributes to team development, quality assurance, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical designs for building services individually or in multi-disciplinary teams. Develop, validate, and oversee designs from concept to completion, including commissioning. Prepare documentation such as scope of works, specifications, and reports. Perform audits, surveys, and assessments of facilities. Design and specify electrical infrastructure, including LV cabling, transformers, switchgear, UPS, lighting, and control systems. Utilize tools like Amtech and Dialux for design work. Mentor and support team members, ensuring adherence to technical and commercial standards.

Qualifications & Experience Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical focus preferred). Relevant experience in electrical building services design and data centre projects. Proficiency in design software like Amtech and Dialux. Professional registration or membership is advantageous.

Health & Safety Mandatory training provided. CSCS Site Card is beneficial.
