Hensel Electric is looking to recruit an Electrical Design & Technical Support Engineer to support the sales office based in High Wycombe. It would ideally be suited for Electrical Graduates or Experienced Designers looking to work flexible hours. Job Description (office based 25hrs - 37.5 hrs per week) Prepare quotations in line with Electrical regulations using AutoCAD and in-house design tools. Deal with incoming inquiries, providing support to internal and external customers. Provide market information (technical and commercial) to enable the analysis, evaluation, and eventual development of new products to be sold within the UK market. Identify opportunities in the niche market, using Hensel products and capabilities, formulate and implement marketing plans to convert them into tangible business. Participate in customer visits and meetings to promote our products, providing technical support as required, resolving technical queries, and preparing/carrying out presentations to assist the sales activity. Provide training and technical support regarding product operation and installation to customers. Assist the sales team with technical support for any pre- and post-sales product-related issues. Ideal Candidate: Experience in Electrical System Designs using AutoCAD and similar packages. Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering is desirable. Working knowledge of Electrical Wiring Regulations with an understanding of the Electrical Switchgear industry and the ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Enthusiastic, proactive, and organized individual with good use of initiative. Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical clients. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent communication skills. Effective time management and project management skills with the ability to juggle a wide range of competing demands. Computer literate and conversant in the use of software packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
