The successful Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

Producing electrical designs for modular buildings and equipment housings, including schematics, cable calculations (Amtech), and manufacturing documentation. Performing lighting, heating, and ventilation calculations using tools like Dialux. Developing solid models and schematics using AutoCAD and Inventor from the tender stage to contract completion. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical designers, structural engineers, and manufacturing teams, to deliver integrated solutions. Supporting junior team members and contributing to product development and system standardisation. Ensuring compliance with BS 7671:2018 and CDM regulations while upholding health and safety standards. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will have:

A degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in a similar role. 3-5 years of electrical design experience post-graduation. Proficiency with software tools such as AutoCAD, Amtech, Inventor, and Dialux. 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018) qualification. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and excellent communication skills. An awareness of health and safety legislation and CDM regulations.
