Electrical Design Engineers Required – Automation & Robotics | £45k–60k + Benefits | Opportunities available in multiple UK locations Let’s cut to the chase, if you’ve got experience designing electrical systems for automation or robotics projects, this role could be exactly what you’re looking for. We’re after someone who can design innovative solutions for bespoke machinery and robotic systems. Every project is unique, so you’ll need to bring creativity, technical know-how, and the kind of curiosity that keeps you tinkering until it’s just right. What you’ll be doing

Designing electrical systems for custom machinery and automated solutions. Using tools like EPLAN (preferred), AutoCAD Electrical, or Solidworks Electrical to craft designs and schematics. Creating control cabinet layouts and industrial electrical schematics that work as beautifully as they look. Documenting your designs meticulously, so everything’s clear and future proofed. Occasionally visiting client sites in the UK to support new projects. What we need from you

Hands-on experience designing electrical systems for automation projects, think robotics, vision systems, servo drives, high-speed machinery, conveyor systems, or custom manufacturing/assembly line equipment. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in electrical design. A knack for creating schematics and panel layouts that are as functional as they are precise. A qualification in Electrical Engineering (Degree, HND, or HNC), or equivalent hands-on experience. The ability to manage your time, juggle priorities, and hit deadlines without breaking a sweat. A love for learning new tech and applying it to solve problems. A UK driving licence, as you’ll need to travel occasionally. What’s in it for you?
