Electrical Design Engineer

The Company Our client is a Building Services Consultancy with origins going back to 1945. They undertake M&E and BREEAM Consultancy Services throughout the UK. They have an extensive portfolio of private and public sector clients including commercial, residential, industrial, leisure and retail companies. They work on some fascinating projects which require imaginative and creative solutions from their engineers. The Role We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Building Services Engineer - with an electrical bias - to join their great team based near Old Trafford. Subject to experience the role will involve taking responsibility for all aspects of your own projects. This will involve undertaking surveys, carrying out the design of projects with the assistance of junior staff and ensuring that we provide a high level of service whilst maintaining project profitability. Their Senior Engineers are around to make sure that the design solutions we offer are up to the mark. The Person We are particularly interested to hear from highly ambitious engineers, perhaps currently operating at intermediate level, who are now ready to take the next step in their career. You should possess excellent technical skills including surveys, electrical services design, and M&E sustainability solutions. A desire to develop your wider project monitoring, management experience and technical skills are important advantages. If you have a flair for generating some new business we can provide the support to help you develop those skills. CEng / CIBSE accreditation and BIM experience is desirable but not essential as the desire to provide outstanding service to our customers is what is most important. We look for communication skills, attention to detail and commercial acumen to go hand in hand with excellent technical abilities.
