We are looking for exceptional talent to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to supplement our Design department. The role involves working full-time hours, Monday to Friday. You will be based at our head office in Ossett, West Yorkshire, but should be flexible for occasional site and client visits. Due to the nature of this role, we understand there will be an element of homeworking necessary to successfully deliver in this position. We’re offering a salary £40,000 to £50,000 plus car allowance. The Company – Who will I be working for?

Established in 1992, we started our journey with a team of 3 specialising in electrical and fixtures for ASDA. Fast forward to the present, and we’ve evolved into a robust company of 135 employees spanning five core divisions. Our client list boasts large organisations like Pets at Home, Haribo, Marks & Spencer, and, of course, ASDA. Today, our nationwide presence encompasses a diverse range of projects, from small-scale retail ventures to expansive warehouse refits. Our expertise spans electrical, mechanical, refit, and roofing solutions. The Role – What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for designing systems and producing working drawings associated with various services, including small power, DB scheduling, E-M schematics, LV distribution (including settings information), lighting, respective control strategies, and a limited amount of fire alarm layouts and details. These designs will primarily be for the retail (supermarket and High St stores) and commercial (offices) sectors. Additionally, part of your role will involve assisting with and completing O&M information upon project completion. What will I need?
