We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to work on advanced autonomous vehicle projects, ensuring the electrical systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize electrical systems and components for autonomous vehicles, including wiring harnesses, power distribution systems, and control circuits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to integrate electrical systems into autonomous vehicle platforms. Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and documentation using industry-standard design tools and software. Conduct electrical system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with performance specifications and safety standards. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source and qualify electrical components for autonomous vehicle applications. Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise to enhance the performance, safety, and reliability of electrical systems. Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and autonomous vehicle technologies, applying this knowledge to innovate and improve our designs. Ensure all electrical designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices, particularly in the context of autonomous vehicles. Document and maintain records of all electrical designs, modifications, and testing procedures for future reference. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in the automotive or autonomous vehicle industry. Strong proficiency in electrical design tools and software, such as AutoCAD, Altium, or similar. In-depth understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, power distribution, and control circuits, especially in vehicle applications. Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262 or SAE standards, related to electrical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in autonomous vehicles. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. Experience with high-voltage systems and electrical safety in autonomous or electric vehicles. Familiarity with CAN bus and other vehicle communication protocols. Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and its implications for vehicle electrical systems. Experience with electrical testing equipment and methodologies. Why Join Us?
