Role Overview:

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems and components for prefabricated housing and modules in power generation and distribution sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that electrical systems meet the specific needs of each project, while adhering to all relevant electrical standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Develop electrical designs for prefabricated modules and housings used in critical power generation and distribution environments. Create electrical schematics, layouts, and detailed wiring diagrams using AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Conduct load analysis, fault current calculations, and ensure proper selection of electrical equipment and components. Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into overall module solutions. Ensure compliance with national and international electrical standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Specify, source, and assess electrical components, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Provide technical support during the manufacturing process and assist with troubleshooting as necessary. Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience (3+ years) as an Electrical Design Engineer, ideally within the power generation or infrastructure sectors. Strong proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. In-depth knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC). Experience in designing systems for critical or mission-critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
