ABOUT THE ROLE My client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ railway projects by providing expert electrical services. Your responsibilities will include: Producing accurate design packages using AutoCAD, micro-station software, lighting design software (Relux/Dialux), and electrical design software (Trimble Amtec). Interpreting client requirements and applying appropriate techniques to achieve suitable design outputs. Performing electrical calculations, lighting calculations, and coordinated building services design drawings compliant with British standards, Network Rail standards, Building Regulations, and other relevant standards. Preparing and producing design drawings, specifications, risk assessments, and client information relevant for submission to clients. Considering and applying sustainable design solutions where applicable. Carrying out site surveys both in a rail environment and a 'high street' environment, and preparing reports and documentation. Keeping updated on industry trends and best practices. REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer within Building Services. Experience working on projects up to £2 Million. Proficient in AutoCAD, Relux, and Trimble software. Holds an engineering degree or equivalent. Trustworthiness, reliability, conscientiousness, and a strong drive for career progression. Highly motivated individual with excellent teamwork skills. Ability to write technical reports and documentation.
