Our client is a market leader in the integration of automated solutions into industries such as FMCG, Automotive, and Marine. They are seeking a hardware design engineer with experience across controls and drive systems.
Key Responsibilities - Electrical Design Engineer
Electrical site surveys Calculations to support sizing and selection (Power, Short Circuit, Voltage Drop, Heat Dissipation, etc.) Equipment/component selection in line with client specification and internal preference Single line diagrams for power, control, and networking/communications Control/Drive Panel general arrangements Electrical schematics and cable schedules Procurement of general components and materials Manufacturing handover, documentation, and support As-built documentation from Testing and Commissioning Complying with all appropriate industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards Meeting project milestones Contribution to the continuous improvement of the Hardware Design department Maintenance of the Technical Construction File
Qualifications & Experience - Electrical Design Engineer Apprenticeship/Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics Minimum 18 months in a similar role Experience using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical Good understanding of control system electrical design
