My client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy, is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their London team.

With an emphasis on progression, development, and teamwork, this is an exciting time to join my client as they continue to build on the successful company development of last year and grow their team further. With multiple offices based around England, they are committed to empowering all staff to flourish and exceed expectations on every level.

They are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer, ideally at Senior level, but they will consider an Intermediate looking for their next step up, to join their Building Services Division. You will be working on an exciting range of projects across various sectors within a supportive team environment to deliver projects to a high standard. Working with long-standing clients, you can expect a dynamic, challenging environment with full focus on your career development.

The role will include:

Responsibility for leading building services design projects within a multi-disciplinary team Undertake design work through all RIBA stages. This will include concept design, detailed design, feasibility reports, construction monitoring, as well as handover. Resolving technical challenges Collaboration with team members Guiding and mentoring junior engineers Skills and experience required:

Building Services or Electrical Design degree Significant experience in a similar role Ideally working towards IEng or CEng with CIBSE, IET, or IMechE. Experience of industry standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, Trimble Pro-Design, Bluebeam) Electrical systems design to include LV distribution, small power, general and emergency lighting, containment, fire detection and alarm, security detection and alarm, access control, CCTV, and lightning protection. This includes cable design calculations, cable sizing, and lighting calculations.
