Our Client has a requirement for two roles: Primary Design Engineer and Secondary Design Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Stafford, UK.

Role Purpose:

To lead engineering design activities on 132kV - 400kV projects. To collaborate with project teams while ensuring adherence to safety and engineering standards.

Job Role Responsibilities:

Primary Design Engineer: Participate in safety reviews. Produce and review primary layouts. Verify structure designs. Interface with internal and external suppliers. Secondary Design Engineer: Produce single line diagrams (SLD) and key line diagrams (KLD). Verify protection and control (P&C) schemes from suppliers. Collaborate within the project team to ensure design integrity. Verify designs provided by back office teams. Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of National Grid specifications. Experience in High Voltage (HV) substation design. Familiarity with GE, Siemens, and Hitachi protection relays; knowledge of TP141 is a bonus. HVDC experience is preferred. Benefits:
