Electrical Engineer focuses on producing and reviewing hv electrical designs for solar and bess projects.

What the role involves

Producing and reviewing HV electrical designs for solar and BESS projects.
Preparing and managing grid connection applications with DNOs and National Grid.
Supporting equipment specification and technical evaluation of inverters, transformers, switchgear and BESS technologies.
Conducting power systems studies including load flow, fault level and harmonic analysis.
Providing technical input into planning applications, EIAs and infrastructure consenting processes.
Coordinating with external consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout project delivery.

Skills and requirements

Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

Design through to construction support and commissioning while also gaining exposure to emerging technologies including data centres, geothermal and onshore wind.
