Electrical Engineer 400kV

Electrical Engineer focuses on producing and reviewing hv electrical designs for solar and bess projects.

What the role involves

• Producing and reviewing HV electrical designs for solar and BESS projects.
• Preparing and managing grid connection applications with DNOs and National Grid.
• Supporting equipment specification and technical evaluation of inverters, transformers, switchgear and BESS technologies.
• Conducting power systems studies including load flow, fault level and harmonic analysis.
• Providing technical input into planning applications, EIAs and infrastructure consenting processes.
• Coordinating with external consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout project delivery.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
