Electrical Engineer – Automotive
in Kidderminster. This role involves a mix of practical hands-on production work alongside office-based duties, including: Producing drawings Creating Bill of Materials (BoM’s) Providing technical expertise and support to both internal and external stakeholders You will have at least 2 years of commercial experience in a similar role and possess the knowledge and technical ability to competently engage with the diagnostics of electrical faults on various types of vehicles. As an Electrical Engineer – Automotive, a significant portion of your duties will involve: Solving technical problems in the engineering department Working on product improvements Assisting manufacturing and production with technical drawings and other related documentation In addition to practical hands-on experience in automotive electrical fault diagnosis, you should be a competent user of: 2D AutoCAD SolidWorks Furthermore, you should have some form of recognized electrical qualification and the ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
